Delivered new in 1949, the Pennsylvania’s Rapids Series sleepers offered overnight travelers a choice of 10 lower-priced roomettes, or more spacious surroundings in one of six double-bedrooms. Several could be found each day on The General and the Broadway Limited, and were still going strong in 1971 when Amtrak took over. Fully assembled and ready for service.

Fully assembled, ready for operation or display, these limited edition HO Deluxe cars feature unique car names and numbers, along with factory-installed LED interior lighting as appropriate and Preiser figures throughout the train.
